During the festive horse races at the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow also received Olivier Delumon, head of the IGNFI company, who arrived to participate in the celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
As reported in the "Watan" news program, during the meeting, the businessman congratulated the Turkmen leader on the country's Independence Day and noted that this was his first visit to Turkmenistan, and that Ashgabat, the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, had left a deep impression on him. He also highly appreciated Turkmenistan's rapid socio-economic development.
The President of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude for the warm congratulations and best wishes and expressed confidence that the businessman's visit would contribute to further strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is always open to mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign companies, primarily leading companies with rich experience and advanced technologies, and singled out the IGNFI company among them. As he noted, the digitalization of the industry opens up new opportunities for sustainable agriculture, as well as creates conditions for the introduction of innovative practices, such as precision farming and sustainable methods of agronomy.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that there are good opportunities for cooperation in the future and expressed Turkmenistan's readiness to consider specific proposals from the company to develop cooperation.
