Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, TDH reports.
The President of Turkmenistan celebrates his 44th birthday on September 22.
"Dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your birthday. Relations between Russia and Turkmenistan are characterized by a deep strategic partnership, and you personally make a significant contribution to their development.We will undoubtedly continue our active joint work on pressing issues on the bilateral and international agendas for the benefit of our friendly peoples and in the interests of ensuring security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian region," the statement said.
The Russian President wished the head of Turkmenistan good health, happiness, and continued success in his government work.
