At a recent government meeting , the Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, M. Chakiyev, reported to the President on the work being carried out in the country to develop the digital economy and introduce innovative technologies.
As noted in the report, the "Turkmenaragatsikh" agency is carrying out relevant work to exchange experience and develop cooperation with international organizations on the introduction of the digital economy. In this regard, the United Nations Development Program plays an important role. Within the framework of this work, great importance is attached to the exchange of experience at the international level, the study of best practices and the training of specialists in this field. In this regard, the head of the agency submitted a proposal for consideration by the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, listening to the report, noted that effective work is being carried out in the country to develop the digital economy and introduce innovative technologies, and that high-level specialists are being trained in this field.
The head of state approved the proposal to establish cooperation between the "Turkmenaragatsikh" agency and the relevant academy of the Republic of Estonia and instructed the head of the agency to carry out the relevant work. This was reported by the "Watan" news program.
