More than 2,000 ATMs serve the population in Turkmenistan.
As of January 1, 2025, 2,131 ATMs were registered in the banking system of Turkmenistan. This was reported in the "Business Advertising" newspaper.
As noted in the report, 447 of the registered ATMs serve the population in Ashgabat city, 11 in Arkadag city, and 246 in Ahal region. There are also 274 ATMs in Balkan region, 279 in Dashoguz region, 432 in Lebap region, and 442 in Mary region.
The largest number of ATMs in Turkmenistan belongs to the State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan "Dayhanbank". This bank has installed 1,022 ATMs in its territory.
The report states that during 2024, cash withdrawals totaling 25,332,491,440.00 manats were made through ATMs installed in Turkmenistan.
