The President ordered preparations to begin now for the ceremonial military parade to mark the 34th anniversary of independence.

As previously reported, on July 2, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting considered the results of the work of the country's military and law enforcement agencies in the first six months of this year. The agenda also included issues related to ensuring security and peace in the country, strengthening the material and technical base of the military and law enforcement agencies, and further improving their work.

At the meeting, Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev reported on the measures taken to successfully implement the program for the development of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan in the first half of 2025 and strengthen the country's defense capabilities. In addition, the results of the conscription campaign and the work being done to improve the service and living conditions of military personnel were reported.

Commenting on the report, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noted the importance of continuing the work on improving the country's Armed Forces based on Turkmenistan's defensive Military Doctrine and modern requirements.

Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other officials, as well as members of the country's delegation.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of preparing well for the ceremonial military parade to be held in honor of the 34th anniversary of the country's sacred independence, starting now, and instructed the Secretary of the State Security Council and the Minister of Defense to take the necessary measures to hold the ceremonial military parade at the highest level.
