In accordance with the relevant national programs, Turkmenistan is carrying out systematic work to train creatively-initiated specialists who are able to master innovative technologies, use scientific methods and solve practically important tasks for the sectors of the economy. Necessary measures are being taken to develop the skills of professors and teachers of higher education institutions to use innovative and pedagogical technologies, master the latest achievements of science and technology, introduce them into educational work, and organize educational work through the implementation of important projects. As TDH reported, this was reported by Vice Prime Minister B. Orazdurdyeva at the Government session held digitally on February 21 in her report on the work being done to improve the professional level of teachers of higher educational institutions in the country. In this regard, the Vice Prime Minister submitted a proposal for consideration by the President of Turkmenistan.
Commenting on the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the education system in the country is being consistently modernized, and broad opportunities are being created for educators to raise and educate a knowledgeable, broad-minded generation.
The Head of State stated that conducting a professional examination for professors and teachers of higher educational institutions is one of the important tasks, supported the proposal prepared in this regard, and instructed the Vice Premier to carry out the relevant work.
