Selbi Batyrova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, participated in the international educational conference “Joint Future: Global Intelligence and Local Society” organized by the Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea in Seoul and Chungcheongbuk-do. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
At the conference, the representative of the Turkmen side reported on the current state of education and study of the Korean language in Turkmenistan. At the end of the speech, a short video clip about Korean language teaching at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages was shown to the participants of the conference.
As noted, within the framework of the international educational conference, a tour was organized for the delegations of the participating countries to the Chungcheongbuk-do city hall, the Republic of Korea, and the mayor’s keynote speech to the guests there made a great impression on the participants.
Within the framework of the international educational conference, the representative of the Turkmen side met with the rector of Kangwon National University. During the meeting, a discussion was held on the establishment of a master’s degree program between the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University, and a number of specific proposals were made in this regard. This fruitful meeting confirmed the willingness of both sides to develop international cooperation in science and education.
