The Turkmenistan national ice hockey team delivered an outstanding performance in their opening match of the group stage at the 9th Winter Asian Games in Harbin, defeating the team from Macau, China, with a resounding score of 26-0. The match concluded with period scores of 6-0, 5-0, and 15-0, highlighting the clear dominance of the Turkmenistan hockey players on the ice.
Many players distinguished themselves in this match, with Baymyrat Baymyradov leading the scoring charts with 5 goals, while Begench Dovletmyradov contributed 4 goals to the team's impressive tally. The remaining goals were scored by Ahmet Gurbanov (2), Dovrangeldi Baydjaev (2), Amangeldi Aganiyazov (2), Arslan Nuryyev (2), Novruz Bayhanov (2), Nazar Orazov (2), as well as Serdar Durdyyev, Serdar Kakajanov, Arslan Geldimyradov, Musa Annasaparov, and Gurbanmyrat Tannyev.
