During his working visit to the new city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and the Mayor of Arkadag City G. Mammedova. During the meeting, the Mayor G. Mammedova provided detailed information on the fact that in the first stage of the construction of the new city, 7,368 family-friendly residential houses were built, and in the second stage, 4,284 family-friendly residential houses were built, while the construction of other cultural and social facilities, secondary schools and kindergartens was planned.
As reported in the news program "Watan", residential buildings are being modernized in accordance with modern requirements. They provide the necessary conditions for comfortable living, modern and enjoyable recreation. At the same time, the construction and improvement of residential buildings fully meets the needs of the city's population. Also, since the opening of the city of Arkadag, thousands of happy families have moved into new homes here in just a few years. Thousands of jobs have been created.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the need to continue the work of resettling the population in housing with all amenities, modernize the work of educational institutions in the new city, and introduce a number of scholarships to encourage young people to study, and gave valuable advice in this regard.
