President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered the presentation of commemorative gifts to war veterans and mothers who worked during the Great Patriotic War on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Victory. This was reported by TDH.
At a meeting of the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Mammedov reported to the President on the events planned to mark the holiday. Cultural and social celebrations will take place throughout the country, including scientific and practical conferences, thematic discussions about the war years, musical festivals, and exhibitions. In Ashgabat, ceremonies will be held to lay flowers at the Khalk Khakydasy Memorial Complex, and in the provinces, at monuments of military glory.
The President emphasized that all necessary conditions have been created in Turkmenistan for war and labor veterans who have shown great heroism. The Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to organize appropriate work in this area.
