On March 26, a roundtable discussion was held at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and the motto for 2026: "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses."
The forum was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, the university's administration and faculty, and student representatives from Turkmenistan and Central Asian countries.
The speakers praised the political, economic, social, and humanitarian reforms implemented in Turkmenistan over the years of sovereign development. Particular attention was paid to the importance of Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality.
A presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Turkmenistan’s Neutrality – a Bright Path to Peace and Trust,” was also held.
