
Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, departs today for a four-day working visit to Turkmenistan. According to tatar-congress.org, the trip is aimed at strengthening interregional cooperation and developing cultural ties between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.
According to the program of the visit, the delegation of Tatarstan will visit Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi. In the capital of Turkmenistan, it is planned to hold meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, as well as working meetings with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova and the Minister of Culture Gurbanmyrat Myradaliev. The parties will discuss the prospects for joint projects in the fields of education, tourism and preservation of historical and cultural heritage. The program of the visit also includes a visit to the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Complex.
On July 30, Vasil Shaykhraziev will fly to Turkmenbashi. There, he will hold talks with the city's mayor, Niyazjan Niyazjanov. The delegation will also get acquainted with the opportunities of the Avaza national tourist zone, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
The working trip will last until July 31.
